E-Crane Internal Spudwell Installation
Port of Coeymans, Coeymans, New York

Carver Marine Steel Works delivers once again! Our 166’x50’x10’ E-Crane barge weighing over 1.47 million pounds received top-notch treatment with the construction, fabrication, and installation of two internal spudwells. The addition of square spuds fitted with an internal sheave/wire system, which can be remotely operated via deck-mounted electric winches, is a game-changer. We also performed preventive maintenance, including blasting and painting of the hull, and installed zincs.

MV Josephine K Miller
Port of Coeymans, Coeymans, New York

CMSW successfully transported a 180' Offshore Supply Vessel for Miller Tug and Barge, where it underwent USCG and ABS inspections, preventive maintenance, and owner-requested improvements.

These enhancements encompassed the fabrication and installation of new anchor securements, the routing of a stainless steel gray water piping system, the creation and fitting of a new removable mast, propeller removal and reinstallation, thorough inspections on tailshafts, bearings, and rudders, valve replacement, fabrication of new prop keys and nuts, rejuvenated fendering, and a fresh paint job.

The entire project was executed to the complete satisfaction of the customer within a 25-day timeframe. To further demonstrate their trust in our services, the same customer will bring us another vessel for dry-docking at the end of November.

MV Berto L Miller
Port of Coeymans, Coeymans, New York

Carver Marine Steelworks recently completed an intermediate US Coast Guard dry docking period for the MV Berto L Miller, an Offshore Supply Vessel with a length of 180ft and a beam of 44ft, operating primarily out of Staten Island, NY.

The vessel owners, having the Vessel already committed to offshore work, required our yard to have a fast turnaround time while meeting all quality standards. As Carver Marine Steelworks is the region's premier ship repair and maintenance provider, this was no problem for our dedicated team.

Within 17 days, our excellent Project Team was able to complete the following items:

    · Internal Steel Repair & Replacement

    · Upgrades to the Hydraulic System

    · Replacement of Hydraulic Piping

    · Replacement of Rudder Bushing

    · Replacement of Anodes

    · Removal of Wheels for Service

    · US Coast Guard Inspection

    · Blasting and Painting of Hull

Regardless of the client's needs or time constraints, Carver Marine Steelworks strives to exceed and anticipate customer needs. Offering high-quality work with low turnaround times while exceeding all regulatory requirements is the benchmark of our standard.
